In the name of God Amen - I, James Haseltine of Haverhill in the County of Essex and Providence of the Massachusetts Bay in New England: Yeoman being week and Low of bodily helth but of a sound mind and memory Thanks be given to God therefor and as touching such worldly Estate as it has plesed God to Bless me withall I do hereby set in order & Disspose of the same in the following mannar (viz)
Imp' I give and bequeath to Ruth my well beloved wife the The youce and Improvement of one third part of my Reail Estate during her widow hood while she remains my widow.
Item I give to my well beloved Son Asa one cow which he has now in keeping
Item I give and Bequeve to my well Beloved Son Philip Three Shillings to be paid by my Executor in Two year after my decese-
Item I give and bequeve to my well Beloved son James one third part of my Reail Estate which shall Remain after my Executorian has completeld the payment of my just debts out of the same; one third part of what remains not given to my wife as above when he shall arrive to the age of twenty one years and one third of the Remainder after my wife decese or after her marrig on his paying what I shall here appoint him.
Item I give and bequeath to my well beloved son John one third part of my Reail Estate which remains after the payment of my just debts and charge in the same way and manner as I have given my son James above on his paying what shall here appoint him.
Item I give and Bequeve to my well beloved son Ladd one third part of my Reail Estate which Remains after the Payment of my just debts and charges also in the same way and manner as I have given to my son James above on his paying what I shall here appoint.
Item I give and bequeve to my well beloved dafter ann six shillings to be paid by my executors in one year after my decese
Item I give and bequeve to my well beloved dafter Elizabeth thirteen pounds six shillings and eight pence to be paid to her at two payments by my son James the one half when she shall arrive to the age of eighteen years and the other half in one year after he has got persition of his full part if she is then arived to that age.
Item I give and bequeve to my well beloved dafter Ruth thirteen pounds six shilling and eight pence to be paid to her at two payments by my son John one half when she shall arive to the age of Eighteen years and the other half within one year after he shall com in possition of his full part if she is then arrived at that age.
Item I give and bequeve to my well beloved dafter Triphena Thirteen pounds, five shilling and Eight pence to be paid to her at two payments by my son Ladd the one half in one year after he shall arrive at the age of twenty one and the other half in one year after he shall com into persition of his full part if he is then arrived to that age.
Item I further give my said wife all my household stuf within dores and also all my provition and syder wool and fleese yarn and cloth to enable her to seport my children and also three cows and all my swine but one and three old sheep and three young lambs and the youce of the Remainder of my Reail Estate while my sons shall come of age to take it.; if shall remain my widow all to enable her to seport my children and furthermore I do hereby ordain constitute and appoint Ruth my well beloved wife to be my sole Executor to this my Last Will and Testament I also order my said Executor to disspose of all my personal estate which is not given away in this my will toward the payment of my just debts, legacies and charges arising I also further order and appoint and impower my said Executor to sell and make sale of that peace of Land I bought or purchased of the widow Dinah Kimball and also my medew called providence medow any parte thereof or the whole if need be to complete the payment of my debts as above - and if that is not seffient to complete the payments then I further order and impower my said Executor to sell and make sale of so much as my other lands where it can be best spared as to complete the payment of my just debts as above. I also do further appoint Jeremiah Haseltine to assist my Executor in the settlement of my estate.
Item I further give to my three sons (viz) James, John & Ladd all my wareing apperil emideatly after my decese and in case my wife shall be taken away or marry before all my sons come of age to take there land
then then youce of what shall remain shall go among my children that are then under age and also in such a case that part of the leaguses which was to be paid after my wifes decese or marriage shall be paid at the same time the other half is to be paid I also give for the youce of the famoly all my lather
and I declare this and this only to be my last will and testament and Desire it may be Received and approved as such in the Testimony where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this Twenty Seventh day of february in the fifth year of his Majesties Reign AD 1765.
