So, lately I've been working on a huge cemetery project which is taking up a lot of my extra time. It's so much work I have to force myself to put it aside & set limits on myself....that's not the freaky part..that's just normal when you're a genealogist. The freaky part is I was working alone minding my own business in the middle of the day, not a single person within sight, walking along taking photos of graves & recording notes for the stones I knew I wouldn't be able to read from later. I come to a grave that I need to spell because there is a big overgrown tree in front of it. I spell the name. I continue about my work, blah, blah. I go home & listen to my notes...and right after I spell the name, as if a woman with an accent is standing next to me you hear "Why you spell the name?". And that's not all - there are many more voices that day & on other days. I must say it's taken me a bit to recover, but I will not give up getting this job done! Today, I'm off to work on it some more....who knows what it will bring.
